  6. ZX DataType is a picture datatype for displaying Sinclair ZX Spectrum
  7. pictures under Amiga OS release 3 or higher.

  9. Why would someone need a picture datatype for Spectrum screens? I don't
  10. know... I just created it for fun. I liked the idea of being able to view
  11. Spectrum pictures with MultiView, or having them inlined in a WWW page.
  12. Kinda neat, don't you think? :-)

  14. ZX DataType recognises three different file formats.
  15.  
  16.  - Raw SCREEN$ image. Length is 6912 bytes.
  17.  
  18.  - SCREEN$ file saved with the ZX Interface 1. Length is 6921 bytes.

  20.  - SCREEN$ file with the ZX82 header. Length is 6924 bytes.
